Offering accommodation in Hoedspruit in the greater Kruger National Park ecosystem, Thornhill Safari Lodge offers guided nature walks throughout the Guernsey Nature Reserve. Big 5 game drives are offered daily into Kruger National Park in a Private Nature Reserve at an additional charge.
The thatched-roof chalets are finished with vibrant fabrics and local hardwood furniture. All bedrooms come with a private bathroom with a shower. Each room is equipped with an overhead fan, air condition, mosquito net and wooden deck that overlooks the lodge, pool area and surrounding bushveld.
Thornhill Safari Lodge features a swimming pool, boma and sun deck where guests can dine and relax. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities and excursions as the staff arrange tours of the Panorama route including the Blyde River Canyon; a day trip up Mariepskop the highest peak on the Northern Drakensberg; the Khamai snake and reptile park; a visit to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre or the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.
Thornhill Safari Lodge is 40km from Kruger Park’s Orpen gate, while Phalaborwa is 47 km away.
