“Lovely local stay”

We loved our stay here!! The apartment was beautiful and secluded (although there were a couple of cheeky birds on the roof!) The couple we stayed with were very inviting and great hosts. Dinner cooked by Lam was huge and included lots of delicious Vietnamese flavours. Breakfast was served outside with a beautiful view the next morning too and managed to make sure we had breakfast early to fit with our schedule. The host family normally get mostly Vietnamese tourists so their English wasn’t great however that didn’t stop us managing to converse using google translate. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing 3 nights at O’Chau homestay. Truong, Lam & family were so friendly & kind - they treated us like their family throughout our stay. Our room was upgraded, free of charge, to a beautiful, large room with a stunning view of the mountains and rice fields. The bed was the comfiest we’ve stayed in South East Asia- we slept so well! The family organised a trekking tour for us with a local guide at a good price and they even leant us their welly boots so our trainers didn’t get muddy! Truong even went out to buy some more that were a bigger size for my partner to use! We ate traditional meals with the family in the evening and the food was delicious. They also provided us with beers & soft drinks. The gardens surrounding the homestay are beautiful, there are animals and even a swing. Upon leaving, Lam organised our sleeper bus to Hanoi and Truong drove us to the town to catch our bus. Highly recommend this homestay for a friendly, authentic experience in Sapa!

Exceptionally helpful and welcoming host family. They worked very hard to create a little paradise in middle of the rice fields, filled with pleasure and animals. They really did everything to make us feel welcome and happy.

I was in Sa Pa on the first days of a 47-day holiday. Sa Pa was my favorite place during my holiday and this was also my favorite facility. This village house in the Muong Hoa valley is clean and comfortable, and I should also mention that the room is very well-organized. I should mention that you will see real hospitality. They will serve you very nice breakfast and meals. You will be hosted by very good people. I recommend you to stay in this house, which is in a very good location in the valley. I want to come to Vietnam again and stay here. The views from the garden of the house are wonderful. Let me add them too.
