Set in a 14th-century building, Massimago Wine Tower is located in the centre of Padua. It features accommodation with frescoes, antique furnishings and exposed beam ceilings.

It has been an amazing experience, our room was on the top of the tower with 2 floors. The upper floor was a living room with 360 degree view of the city. Check-in was great and simple. Be aware that there are quite a few steps to take to get to your room, but it´s absolutely worth it. Very different to most - if not all - other hotels.

I liked the fact it had so much character, a nice big bed with quality bedding and secure parking. I also liked the fact we had no neighbours so it was lovely and quiet.
