The fine print
Breakfast is free for children aged 0 – 6 years.Milton does not have family rooms, instead a limited number of double rooms can accommodate 1 z-bed/cot. Z-beds/cots are complimentary, however a room upgrade charge may apply.Children aged 7-12 years will be charged GBP 3.50 per child per breakfast.Children aged 13 and above are charged at full adult rate.Please note that Milton Hill House do not provide dining options on Christmas Day, and on Friday and Saturdays in December unless guests are attending Christmas party nights.'Reservations of 10 rooms or more will be subject to additional terms and conditions, cancellation and deposit requirements. Please contact the Hotel Sales Office for further information.'We’re upgrading some of our facilities between 1 April – 31 July 2025. While our reception, restaurant and bar are temporarily relocated, food and drink will still be available throughout your stay. Bedrooms and leisure facilities remain unaffected. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They are an asset to the hotel. Lily our waitress at dinner was very friendly and helpful. She was very attentive without being intrusive. We engaged her in a conversation and have to say she was very interesting,we enjoyed our conversation with her. Food was great as was the wine Lily recommended. The room was spotlessly clean and the leisure facilities that we used after breakfast were really good. The room was warm but having windows open and throwing off duvet sorted that so enjoyed a good night's sleep! All in all an excellent stay. Just wished the weather hadn't prevented us from enjoying the beautiful grounds.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I highly recommend it!

Property is very beautiful, amazing grounds and outdoor space. We stayed in an annex of the house which is a large Brutalist style building - doesn’t match the rest of the aesthetics but was very nice inside
