We made a last minute change to plans and were so fortunate that this house had availability as a recent listing - the host can not have been more helpful, showing us the house/sending excellent recommendations for local beaches/restaurants/activities and supporting any questions - a pleasure to meet. The house was beyond expectations - recently decorated everything was clean and fresh, individual and interesting decor, very well supplied kitchen rare for a holiday rental .... and wonderful outside spaces covering all options sun/shade/pool/privacy. The terrace was so perfect with sunset and countryside view we ate there every night! We also loved the location - easy from Lisbon and with the Atlantic beaches really close, and short drive to sheltered beaches on the south coast of the peninsula good for kids and taking a dip if the waves are too fierce on the west. Also great to have restaurants/shops in walking distance but with a countryside outlook. We would definitely love to go back there and planning a return visit - really recommended!
