Lovely welcome, free onsite parking, very comfy bed, superb friendly staff, excellent breakfast, daily housekeeping (nice to get fresh towels and the tea making facilities topped up every day), very convenient location.

Excellent location within walking distance of restaurants and plenty of shopping. Parking at B&B for a few cars with first come first serve. We were on top floor up a few flights of stairs and not a problem but could be for some. Lovely lookout over bowling green and tennis courts. Breakfast hearty with good selection of hot freshly made food

Lovely place in a great central location just by the park and only a very short walk into town, free parking on first come first served basis, 5 or 6 spaces to the back. Nice room with comfy bed and decent shower. Good facilities and has a drying room for wet gear. the owner was a very nice man and was happy to let us use his tumble dryer as we got caught in a downpour and needed dry coats for that night. Only things that let the place down (and only slightly) were; our room was on the side of the building facing the road and we got woken up by the noise from the bins at 5am Monday; and the breakfast service was a bit hit and miss, ingredients all good but staff service and food preparation a bit mixed. Full English on the 1st day was just ok, we had gotten there towards the end of service and the sausage and bacon was dry, on the second day mine was nice but my girlfriend didn't enjoy hers as it was dry/overcooked again. 1st world problems though. I think overall it's a really nice place and worth the money, I did get a genius discount though so maybe wouldn't have been quite as happy without that unless the breakfast improved.
