We liked: - the location. 10 min walk to the train station. - the view. The hotel is situated by the big canal hence we had a beautiful view from the 10th floor. - room was of a good size; clean and comfortable. - breakfast was plentiful with many options. - staff was nice and polite. I liked the hotel interior, decorations and the building itself.

credible stay – truly made my son’s birthday unforgettable! From the moment we arrived at Room Mate Aitana, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The team at reception were so helpful — they arranged an early check-in so we could get changed, and the cleaning staff kindly prepared our room ahead of schedule. It was my son’s birthday, and what touched us most was the extra effort one of the staff made to surprise him. They rushed in with balloons, chocolates, fizzy pop, sweets, and a lovely birthday message — such a thoughtful gesture that made his day even more special. We stayed in a junior suite, and the views were absolutely heavenly. The suite itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with a separate bedroom, a generous dining and chill-out area, and a luxurious bathroom with double sinks. Everything was spotlessly clean and felt very modern, from the USB ports (no need for adaptors!) to the sleek decor. The team also helped us with luggage and arranged a taxi to the airport, making everything seamless. Room Mate Aitana completely exceeded our expectations — it was more than just a hotel stay, it was a memorable part of our Amsterdam experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the city — especially if you’re celebrating something special!
