The shepherds hut is magnificent. It's fitted out with everything you could possibly need inside the hut and has little touches, such as a book of local walks and local information, a torch and binoculars. The underfloor heating keeps it really cosy too. In addition, the covered private outdoor area at the side of the hut is amazing. It means you can sit outside if you want, even if its rubbish weather. I didn't make use of the barbecue or log burner on this occasion but simply used the area to sit in with my mug of tea and admire the view. John and Alison are friendly and welcoming hosts and will help you to settle in and then leave you in peace to enjoy the tranquility. The view from the hut is amazing. Really peaceful and quiet. I slept really soundly every night.

Everything about this stay was gorgeous. The owners were very welcoming and down to earth. The accommodation was cosy, romantic and very clean with everything needed. The views were outstanding. Would certainly recommend for sure😃

Beautifully presented, so cosy and snug! The outside space is amazing with spectacular views and if chilly a wood burner to keep you warm 🔥there’s even some binoculars to look out at the beautiful scenery, it’s the ultimate switch off location! This is our 3rd time here now and has become my happy place, John and Alison are the loveliest of hosts and I’m glad to say have become our firm friends 😁 We timed it right this time too as there was some entertainment going on in the square with lots of locals enjoying the music sitting around tables and outside bars it was truely lovely! We especially love going to the Barlic Tap to enjoy their latest stouts 😋
