The location of the Lindisfarne Inn is brilliant if you are travelling down the A1. You could not get closer and it is surprisingly quiet. Our room was in the Annex at the back of the building and had all that we needed. It was functional rather than attractive but that's what we needed. The welcome was warm and there was a good range on the dinner menu. Breakfast was also good and well cooked. Parking is very easy and other guests were friendly.

The friendly staff, the lovely breakfasts, the location - we wanted to visit Lindisfarne and it was possible to walk to the island from the pub.
