Hotel Overview

Chami Villa Bentota is located in Bentota just 50 metres from the beach and 100 metres from Bentota Railways Station. the guesthouse provides simple accommodation with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access.

“Good value for money, though cleaning could be a little better.”

Perfect bed, perfect breakfast, good shower. Nice people. Cleaning could be better: the klamboe roof was dusty, and the refrigerator was so dirty that i didn't dare to use it. Nevertheless, good value for money. The airco is noisy, pillow too high for me.

The place is very well located. It feels you are living in a small village being part of it! Great staff, super friendly, helpful, the welcoming was very warm 🤍

There are no words to describe the hospitality and kindness, we were welcomed like part of the family. We felt like Chami Villa was second home, it was our first accomodation in Sri Lanka and we miss it already. As I told you, I would give you a 100, but I can only give you a 10. The property is beautiful, rooms are large, very clean with good air-conditioning. Breakfast was abundant and so tastefull. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children and the triple room had more than enough space for us, the big bed was large enough for 3 to sleep in. When my daughter fell and got wound on her legs, he brought us a cream to help heel it. When we went to the beach, they made sure we had everything we needed. Last but not least, Maya the dog was so charming and our children did not want to leave Chami the last they because of her and they keep mentioning her all the time.

Really kind and helpful host. We have have arrived on the 24th of Dezember, and our ac had a problem. In 30 mins, he organized a repair. This is just amazing on Christmas afternoon. Clean, well equipped rooms and the hotel location is great. 5 mins the beach, great restaurants in 2-3 mins. The owner has a good surf school too where we surfed 1 hour at a good price.
