From the moment we arrived we noticed how immaculately clean the property was. The hosts are clearly attentive and thoughtful, leaving a welcome basket with bread, eggs, milk and butter which was so appreciated after a long drive. The property was extremely quiet with no road noise at all. The house was gorgeously presented but also very comfortable and homey. It was very private and didn’t feel overlooked at all. The property has good access to local amenities (about a 10 minute drive to the nearest big tesco and a smaller co-op 5 minutes away) but also provided some of the most stunning, scenic drives into the popular Lake District locations. My partner and I are excited to book our next stay at Dandelion Cottage.

Absolutely beautiful place. The building, the grounds, the location. All are outstanding. Great place to kick back and relax. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival and some lovely flowers, chocolates and bottle of prosecco as we were celebrating my wife's birthday whilst there. We would highly recommend a stay and we'd be looking to stay here again in the future!

Kathreen sent us a link to a very informative app all about our stay, arrival, the surrounding area and departure guidelines. Dandelion cottage was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Lovely welcome package too! Bed so comfortable and everything we needed. Will definately be back xx thank you 😊
