Very well presented and set in an idealic location. Very quiet and peaceful, but only a 20 minute drive from the city of Carlisle. An ideal base if your planning on exploring the lake district.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay for a friends birthday. The cottage was spacious and lovely, with all the needed amenities. Milk, orange juice, sugar and even some breakfast items were provided which is a great touch. Hosts were fantastic and incredibly helpful, we needed a kitchen appliance and this was provided within minutes - Communication was great! The home itself was incredible, with a beautiful surrounding area next to some horses. We thoroughly enjoyed our BBQ too in the spacious outdoors, anything you could want was there and we even opted to stay in instead of exploring in the evening. Would 110% recommend and cannot wait to be back
