Location was perfect for us/walking into town centre or parks. It has obviously been refurbished quite recently, but since then no up-keep. Albeit the room, although small (no wardrobe) and random chair taking up space so dresser couldn’t be used, was clean and bottled water was replenished daily. Beverage facility in room was also good.

Beautiful room full of character with a lovely large bathroom. Very quiet location within a 10minute walk to the centre. Parking on site was a bonus. All staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and were very efficient in their dealings with us. Super soft extra large towels and quality bed linens. Good choice of options for a continental or cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price. We had previously stayed at a number of different chain hotels in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area but this was a much more pleasant experience - we will be returning.
