We were met in the car park by the staff member offering to take our bags up the stairs. We chose what breakfast we would like cooked.

The location was perfect for visiting Athelhampton House and Gardens. Our host was super friendly and accommodating. She was able to give us plenty of local info and advice for choosing a good place to eat or drink nearby in the evening and top tips for walks in the area. We had a lovely breakfast at a time of our choosing and the choices on offer were delicious and plentiful. We would definitely recommend Fern Cottage to anyone looking to spend a few nights in a comfortable, cosy and cheerful B and B with a very friendly host and beautiful countryside on your doorstep.
