Beautiful building with light rooms, fabulous decor and magnificent public rooms. Although choice at breakfast was disappointing, compensation was from friendly, attentive and welcoming staff fluent in many languages. Close to our favourite museum haunts.

the staff is exceptional - helpful, polite, go out on a limb. location is amazing. breakfast was delicious. our room was a bit deep in so that many staircases had to be climbed. but the room itself was gorgeous and roomy.

It’s a gorgeous hotel, only a little bit dated. The location of this hotel was fantastic - within walking distance to all the museums. Room service food was great, as well as breakfast. Staff were very friendly and polite, they even welcomed us with a bottle of champagne!
