Had an enjoyable break although unfortunately the swimming pool was closed There was also a slight problem when I was trying to dry my hair in the room as there wasn’t a mirror near the plugs

The hotel and staff are excellent. I proposed to my partner in the hotel and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special for us! Food was fantastic and the bar had live music that night to top it off. The best hotel in the lovely city of Galway!!

This was my second time staying at the Clayton this year and once again everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here due to its location to Merlin Hospital where my father had an early morning appointment. I would highly recommend the hotel and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Unfortunately the pool was out of order due to a problem with the plant room . Not the hotels fault just something that happens. Outside room 169 there was a very bright light than shined in all night but we got over it
