Comfy bed and friendly staff. Nice free breakfast with our booking although not a lot of coffee with it. Just a small cup and no sign of a refill.

The place is clean with a nice common area with pool. The room was spacious and confortable. The downsides : Way too hot in the room, no air passing through (we’d advise taking the option with AC). The staff asked for more money than written on booking, claiming there was some « tax you can’t see on booking » … why hasn’t this happened anywhere else then ? Breakfast is served when it is served. They write on the board that it’s from 7:30 am and confirm at the desk the person will start cooking at 7:00 am. No one was there when we left at 7:45 so don’t expect to enjoy the included breakfast if you’re leaving early, despite what they advertise.

I was wary of this Hostal after reading reviews, but it was fine. Pretty quiet inside, beautiful building, lots of communal spaces. Breakfast was simple but great. I think it was good value for the price. Definitely no bed bugs in our room.
