The property was decent. It was very noisy in the hallways outside the rooms.

Rooms are very dated, staff’s English abilities limited. Bedding too small for the beds.

The season was challenging for snow but the slopes are not proactively maintained which is a challenge for Marco Polo ( worse for Gudauri Lodge/Loft as they don’t have a direct ski lift to doorstep). Standard rooms are small and some unrenovated. As a resort the maintenance needs to be much better vs Europe despite being a fraction of the price. Hotels need to apply pressure on the slope owners as even getting a chair lift down ended in a muddy puddle - not effect to shovel snow here let alone other areas of the piste. Higher up was still decent, but no effect to maintain slopes even at mid level.
