Had everything we needed for our stay, including some good coffee in the room! Provided towels, chairs, umbrella etc for the beach. Very convenient location. Pool was great for a little dip.

Great customer service, we were given a tour straight away. Cosy and homely but very clean. Lovely bathroom. Super comfortable bed. It felt like a luxury hostel in the best way! Lots of beach chairs & other things you can borrow ☺️

This property on Isla Mujeres is named as a hotel, but it feels more like an Airbnb or hostel. It’s essentially a shared house with individual rooms, each with a separate key. To rate this place fairly, one must compare it to similar accommodations in the area, though most reviewers (including myself) likely don’t have the chance to benchmark it this way. The Positives: The location is unbeatable – central, on a quiet street, and close to everything, including the best beach on the island (I explored the entire island during my stay). The Ultramar ferry is also just a 10-minute walk away. The artistic paintings on the walls make the property easy to spot. The owners/hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and check-in/check-out was straightforward with excellent communication. This adds a personal touch that enhances the experience. The Negatives: While the stay was enjoyable overall, there were some issues that left room for improvement: Ground Floor Bathroom: Unfortunately, this bathroom had a persistent bad smell, likely due to the shower drain being connected directly to the sewer. The water pressure in the shower was also low, and the temperature was just warm enough. Room Cleaning: While the room appeared clean at first, a glance under the bed revealed otherwise. A bit more attention to detail would make a big difference. WiFi Issues: Initially, the WiFi wasn’t working, and we were told the internet was down across the island. However, after some persistence, the local service provider fixed the issue. Multiple Keys: Navigating six keys to open three doors (including a private bathroom not directly connected to the room) might bother some guests. Upgrading to electronic programmable locks, as seen in other Latin American accommodations, would streamline this process and modernize the experience.
