The staff were very helpful, the location was a little bit away from things but the free to hourly car to the beach was very useful. We were just a short walk away from the Fantasy Show which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pools were lovely, two of which were on the roof. It’s a pity the weather was so wet during our stay. The staff were outstanding with the helpfulness. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment building as it was great to be able to prepare our own meals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Citygate Kamala Resort and Residence, and I can genuinely say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The apartment-style room was spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare simple meals during my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall design of the room felt both stylish and functional – perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring Phuket. One of the highlights for me was the rooftop pool. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views – ideal for enjoying a swim or just unwinding with a drink. The other common areas, including the fitness centre and spa, were well maintained and added great value to the experience. The location is excellent, just a short 10-minute walk to Kamala Beach. For added convenience, there’s also a free shuttle service to the beach every couple of hours. The area around the hotel is calm and safe, which made it a perfect base for a relaxing getaway. What truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was polite, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. In summary, Citygate Kamala is a great choice if you’re looking for a mix of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or planning a longer trip, I highly recommend this resort. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing pools (3!), beautiful studio apartments, stunning hotel. The staff were amazing, I got severe food poisoning and they helped my partner (at who knows what time in the middle of the night) to get doctors to our hotel room and then allowed us to check out 2 hours later the following morning to allow me some sleep.

For us a great location, a short walk from the hustle and bustle. Clean, modern building and outdoor areas, well maintained. Possibly due to the building having permanent residents. All reception staff were really friendly. Plenty of outdoor toilets around pool areas which can sometimes be lacking. Plenty of places to sit - main pool with pool bar. Roof top pool and bar x2. Although the suite was small they have used the space well and there were lots of storage. 2 x aircon in the suite which was nice and they had a piece of card in the key slot which meant the electric and aircon etc stayed on when not in the room, which was great as room was cool all the time. We only stayed 2 nights so can’t comment on breakfast or restaurant as we ate out. Paid 1000 tb deposit which was cash only and upon checking the room received back. This requirement was clearer stated in booking terms so no surprises which was nice.
