The breakfast was great, one of the things they made was a Sri Lankan omelette, the coffee was very nice and the view from the restaurant is outstanding. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and we liked the little window in the shower so you could still take in the view. The view was stunning, very close by was a girls school so from your room/the restaurant you could hear and see the schools morning routine which was very different compared to what we were used to back home, was interesting to see. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they gave us good recommendations for shops and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. We really liked the location, not only was it a great view but you could go for a walk to some near by craft shops, you could walk onto the road and find a tuk easily. It was very quiet, and very local, you got to experience local Sri Lankan life. There were lots of monkeys around in the morning and evenings, you could see them from the windows and balcony. We would definitely return to the hotel if we visit Kandy again.

Very accommodating, allowed us to check in much early as we arrived way before check in time. Also helped us to get a taxi to the train station the next day

Simple hotel rustic rooms but couldn’t get a better location. Up quite a steep hill less than 10 minutes walk from the lake but this means the views are amazing. You can see the whole city, big Buddha and the lake. We also got visited by lots of monkeys going about their morning business. Loved watching them from the balcony. Breakfast was simple but nice. The hotel was very good value for money considering the reasonable cost and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was my birthday on the second day and they gave me a little cake and flowers which was very nice of them

We were pleased with the central location, which made it easy to explore the area. The room had what we needed for our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly kind, always accommodating, and happy to offer recommendations, showing great care for their guests. The offered breakfast was very nice 😊
