The hotel is a modern building that is in the middle of everything but manages to remain at a quiet spot. This is modern hotel with all the amenities you expect, large room that is cleverly designed and has even a table to work on comfortably. You will be in touristic locations in no time on foot, and the Keihan line train stop is actually close by to allow you to get to some further attractions. I liked the breakfast, they have a Japanese menu which is a very nice touch it comes with explanations of every dish, and two more European a bit fancy menus, as well as a smaller buffet to complement the menus.

Fantastic location, the room was amazing (best value for the price we paid we had in the whole trip) and the common lounge was very nice to wind down in the evening, with a fire pit lit every night. Highly recommended overall.

Location is superb. It is located in the center of Kyoto city but still find peace in the area. There is a room where they serve drinks and snacks after 2 pm. The dessert is very nice and the sitting area is very spacious and relaxing. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

We had a truly exceptional stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The property is beautifully designed, with spacious and elegantly furnished rooms. The staff was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel offers high-end toiletries and bath products of outstanding quality, adding an extra touch of luxury to the experience. The lounge was another highlight, providing complimentary drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and delicious snacks throughout the day. Prior to our arrival, we informed the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary. To our surprise and delight, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge and thoughtfully provided a luxurious spa gift set along with exquisite desserts to mark the occasion. This level of service and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable and turned our vacation into a perfect and memorable experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future.
