We have been to Motovun in November two month ago. We are still trying to digest the experiences which overwhelmed us. This is all about Istra, Motovun area, the seaside town, Pigini, Bellevue, the owners, the people of Istra. This is all about the countryside life, the great food culture, the truffle, the great hospitability of people of Istra.

The apartment is modern and recently renovated. Very calm Location & nice views of the village of Motovun - it's the perfect place to relax. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The wifi connection is TOP (even though you are a bit 'in the middle of nowhere'). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It has a fireplace that is really appreciated in winter.

This place is just simply fantastic. We've stayed in dozens of rental apartments and houses over the years and this one definitely ranks among the very best. The apartment was clean, completely well equipped, and extremely comfortable. The bedroom is equipped with black-out curtains. It's a large apartment, even without the 2nd bedroom/bathroom, which we didn't use. Everything is modern and functional. The hospitality of Sandi, his parents Sylvie & Bruno, and his sister-in-law Maja was exceptional. Truffle hunting with the 3 dogs, the wine, honey, and cheese were unexpected but much valued. I can't say enough about how welcome we felt. It's worth noting that Motovun Bellevue apartment is in a beautiful rural location (with amazing views!) a couple of kms from the village of Livade, and then another few kms from the hill town of Motovun. A car is pretty much essential. Also, with your own transportation you'll be able to easily visit half a dozen other hill towns within a half-hour drive, as well as wineries, etc etc.
