The location was nice, behind the wall of Lucca. But I recommend it only if like us, you only need to sleep and shower there. The bed is a very good one, I have a sensible back and it felt very good, it is also very large.

Great location, within an easy walk of all amenities. Very easy self check-in and check-out with door code and keys in keybox. We stayed in the Turchese ground floor apartment. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. Kitchen small but adequate with full sized fridge and gas hob (no oven) but small microwave/grill. Nespresso coffee machine and a stove top mocha pot. Some coffee pods provided & lots of tea bags, and a teapot!! Washing-up liquid, clean sponge & cloths provided. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, including the all important corkscrew! I found dining chairs uncomfortable, but sofa was very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Soap and sachets of shower gel provided, plus sachets of feminine gel on the bidet which was a nice touch. Nice shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Huge comfortable (kingsize?) bed and lots of storage in the walk in wardrobe. Washing machine, iron and airer, but only a small ironing board...... Our apartment didn't get much sun during the day, which kept it cool, but also meant drying any washing might be difficult. We didn't want to open the windows as we wanted to reduce the risk of mosquitoes in the apartment, so we didn't use the washing machine, but it looked very new and there was washing liquid. TVs in both the living room and bedroom, but we didn't use them. Also air-con units in the living room and the bedroom, which we used briefly. Apartment would easily accommodate 4 by using the sofa bed. Some noise from the cute dog at the property opposite in the evenings, and people in the corridor coming in and out, with occasional street noise, but apart from that the apartment was quiet.
