Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge ( 2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable from the farm. Guests can enjoy plenty of activities including hiking, bird watching, bees and permaculture tours, massages, cacao and coffee tours, billiards among others. Guests can visit an indigenous villages nearby. The lodge is accessible by walking, moto ( 20.000 cop) and HIGH - HAUT 4x4. Be aware that the road is not in good condition and may be scary although safe.  Free Wifi and private parking. Santa Marta is 22 km from Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge. The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International, 33 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. ( 180.000 cop).

Mundo Nuevo is a little slice of paradise, and we had the best three night stay here. It was made even better by our free room upgrade on arrival. The staff are so accommodating and consistently go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The sunset/sunrise view point is an absolute highlight, and the views are incredible. If you are looking for a place to relax for a few days, I highly recommend a stay here.

Overlooking the green valley, surrounded by butterflies and colourful flowers to watch from plenty of inviting hammocks, seats or the pool, this place can be serene and relaxing. The cats there were really cute too :)
