cat the owner is so nice and welcoming the lodge n hot tub are amazing meeting all the animals and getting to feed the lambs was amazing the dogs are so friendly we fell in love with shubs the big dalmation he is quite the character would highly recommened here it is so peaceful a d relaxing we will definetly come back

The location is spectacular, with the most beautiful and serene views. It is so peaceful. Really clean, cosy and good sized property with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. All of the amenities you could need are there (fridge, freezer, pots pans, plates, microwave, iron, shower, central heating, smart tv etc) all the comforts you would have at home, AND a hot tub (in the Glen Bay Lodge) which goes down a treat after a long day. The bed was huge (super king!?), I was laying next to my partner- didn’t even realise he was there most of the night the bed was that big! So comfortable aswell, we slept so well. Despite being on a farm, you’d expect it would be noisier with all the animals, it wasn’t, it was so peaceful at night. Cat is lovely, you can tell just by talking to her that she is just such a kind person. The love and effort she puts into each and every animal, and her farm is palpable, which reflects in her animals and how friendly they all are towards you. The dogs (Calli, Schubert, Kipling and Dali) will come to greet you and say hello sometimes throughout your stay, they are lovely dogs. Cat’s knowledge with regard to all of her animals, what they need and what they don’t, is superb, she will tell you whatever you want to know about any of them, and you can read the history on her website or when you visit (in the books in the lodge) what each animal has unfortunately been through in their past that has led them to need to be rescued, and the lengths Cat has gone to, to secure them and give them a loving home, it’s truly admirable everything she has done. If you are an animal lover, nature lover, and want some downtime with stunning views, mixed in with a few animal cuddles, this is the place to be, we all loved it and we will certainly be booking again for next year.

All of it, it was a lovely little break away from life and to relax in a hot tub under the stars was very needed ! We did the animal tour which was amazing and we brought some eggs back home too

The property was lovely and cosy, close to the field with two beautiful cows. It was a very cold weekend but the lodge was lovely and warm for our arrival and perfect for us getting back in after chilling out in the hot tub. Cat was a lovely host we got to bottle feed some lambs and walk around the farm to see all the animals
