The actual room we stayed in was quirky, as is the whole house, and the shower room was modern and nice. Bed was comfy too. We were on the ground floor in the 'red' room. There was parking directly outside and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. You can walk into New Orleans, to Bourbon St in approximately 30 minutes, which we did every day. Not having to find somewhere to park or pay for parking is a bonus.

Neat and well-equipped accommodation just half an hour's walk from the French District. The neighborhood is very nice, as is the building. You can also use the swimming pool.

Odd but cool and convenient place for one night's stay. Not much interaction with the staff since there were code locks to all doors and the front gate, but we met one of the owners and a friend of his and they were very friendly and helpful. Had no trouble finding free parking a couple of blocks down the same street after offloading our luggage in front of the accomodation.
