Resort Overview

Devocean Eco Adventure Lodge is based in the picturesque village of Ponta Do Ouro in Southern Mozambique. The area boasts magnificent marine life and several off-shore coral dive sites. Access to public transport is within walking distance of the property.
The units are equipped with lamps, fans, power points, side tables and shelf space. All linen is provided, including bath but excluding beach towels. There are communal male and female ablutions with shower facilities. Beach towels are available for rent from the reception.
There is a restaurant serving 2 meals a day. Tea and coffee are complimentary, and guests can also enjoy a snack or have a drink from the bar.
Activities include surfing, fishing, kite surfing, swimming with dolphins, hiking and quad biking.
The Kosi Bay border post into South Africa is just 10 km away.

Referred to as "Canvas Cottage" this spacious safari tent is build in a permanent bay and almost completely surrounded by thick stone walls. Windows and doors are protected by mosquito mesh and there is a private bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and sink. The wooden deck offers a garden view.

Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned chalet features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. The chalet features a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a tiled floor as well as a terrace with garden views. The unit has 1 bed.

In Jauary 2025 I stayed there for only 3 nights, but i would have liked to stay longer. The staff in particular Sean were incredibly friendly, helpful with information and calm. Sean is a very interesting man and I got a lot of information even before i arrived. I liked talking to him and learned a little more about Mozambique. I felt very welcome. The complex is close to the beach and centrally located for exploring Ponta do Ouro and like a little green oasis. The tent was very large and comfortable, i was lucky to see some different geckos, big snails and a little green snake. The Wifi in the common aera is very good. Also the the breakfast and lunch was very yummy, they even offer free coffee, tea and water all day. I would come back, clear recommendation***

Brilliant eco tented camp. Glamping actually with servicing of tents daily. Brilliant breakfast. Staff that are awesome. The kitchen prepares the most amazing meals. Sean and his team offer you an experience you won’t forget.
