It is a charming town, and has great food. There is an old steam train (amazing) that runs daily to the mountains and returns after 15 minutes. The one hour train ride each way cost only about 25 euro, with return. We stayed 3 days.

Great location, lovely very old house tastefully modernised, we were meet by a very nice lady, with local knowledge. Clean, bright and comfortable. Be aware as an old house ceilings are low and stairs are steep, it's part of the charm for us.

Second time for us staying with Urlaub im Fachwerk. Quedlinburg is such a perfect little historical town. We love staying in the historic buildings. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Check in and check out were easy. And you can walk everywhere easily in Quedlinburg.
