We stayed for just one night and really appreciated the hotel itself. We ate at the restaurant, which was nice — the food was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lift was out of action during our stay, but the receptionist didn’t hesitate to sprint up the stairs after us and insisted on carrying both of our large bags the rest of the way herself — such genuinely thoughtful service. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed — a great place to relax after a day out, even if the weather wasn’t on our side.
