Location is ideal. Across the river from the Chateau and town with views up and down the valley. Easy within walking distance into town. Parking at the front of the hotel is limited but there is a hotel carpark 25 meters away so no problem and free. Hotel is superb inside, decor is amazing with painted horse murals on the walls and sculptures in reception. Very modern, clean and well presented. Room was light and clean and we booked a river view so well worth the extra cost. One of the best breakfast selections I've had and plenty of it.. We will come back.

Perfect location for exploring Saumur being only about a ten minute walk from the centre of town. Beautiful view from our window of the Loire, the château and church.
