Staying at Five Peaks was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. From our first contact with the owners (thank you, Daniel and Chie!) to check-out, everything was excellent. The location is perfect – just a 10-minute walk to the Snow Monkey Park – and the peace and quiet made it even more special. I’d recommend taking a 20-minute walk to the nearby village centre as well. The house itself is very well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great house for a large group. Kitchen well stocked. Washing machine and drier which was great for our long stay. Great location for drive to Shiga Kogen and other ski resorts close by.

This is a very large house with space to park a car. We were there in winter and the kids loved playing in the snow around the house. It is walking distance from the Snow Monkey Park, but make sure you have the correct footwear in winter as it can get very icy and slippery. There are gas heaters in every room, which worked great. We were never cold inside the house. There is plenty of space in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. It was really nice having a tumble dryer as well as a washing machine for cleaning clothes.

We loved staying here. A lot of space for our family of 7 (5 kids) and very comfortable. So quiet and peaceful and the home had everything you could need and more. The monkey park is very close. We'd love to stay here again one day (in winter with the snow would be amazing). Such a great place to stay
