We had a wonderful stay! It was nice and clean, the room was comfortable, and the hostel was in a great location!

Whilst the room was comfortable enough, I was disappointed that the room didn’t have its own loo and shower. This is not what I was expecting. There is only one shared shower and loo for the entire floor, which is really not enough. Every time you go out, you must take your phone to remember the code for the door. There is also no daily cleaning service or laundry facilities so you need to be aware of that. The hotel is not staffed so everything must be done via messaging them. A pity, as this place could be much friendlier and welcoming. Location near the palace is fine and it’s right by the metro station. A very good Japanese curry place is close by.
