The property, room , bar area, breakfast , jacuzzis and particularly the staff were fantastic. The location is great, but you need a car. The cost of taxis is extortionate and impacted our stay in view of being 5km outside Voss and having no car. A car is a must , everything else is perfect!!

Unique and wonderful hotel located on a beautiful lake in a very peaceful areas. Staff were amazing, we were welcomed immediately and always felt we could ask if we needed anything. The room was large and beautifully crafted with very comfortable beds. Unlike other hotels where the room is just a place to sleep - this one you didn't want to leave. The beautiful views over the lake and the comfy chairs to sit in and watch it just made it a space you wanted to spend all your time in. Also the wifi was amazing. We would 100% come back to this hotel, we may even come back to this area just to be able to stay at this hotel. I miss it already!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was superb and the bed very comfortable. We used the sauna and hot tub and both were great. The breakfast was truly excellent, above our expectations.

Read the reviews of the Elva Hotel when booking and found them to be really accurate. The hotel, room and staff were all exceptional and made our 3 day visit one to remember. Our mornings always started well, with an incredible view over the lake, followed by a top class breakfast. We enjoyed our evenings in the bar where the staff were most helpful and had great knowledge of the drinks they were serving. In fact on our first evening, though arriving quite late, the chef prepared for us a very nice meal.
