Resort Overview

Stay At Raffertys Resort is situated on the shores of Lake Macquarie and offers numerous styles of self-contained accommodation with their own covered decks or sunny courtyards. The resort facilities include 4 swimming pools (1 is heated), 4 tennis courts, a children's playground, water activities, private jetty, boat ramp and an award-winning waterfront Wedding venue and Function Centre. (A lovely range of food and beverages are available for all Function bookings).
All our accommodation at Stay At Raffertys Resort are individually owned and uniquely styled and may vary to the photos pictured. Each property offers air conditioning, dining and living areas, equipped kitchens, spacious bedrooms, at least 2 bathrooms, and an internal laundry.
Home of JetBuzz and Lake Macquarie watersports, guests can also enjoy the thrill of the Jetboat ride or hire boat, fishing equipment and watersport equipment.
With Swansea and Lake Munmorah nearby, shopping for groceries is a breeze. If you are in search of a cafe or restaurant there are ample to choose from that are either with an easy walking distance to the Resort or a just few minutes drive away.
Situated 40-minute south of Newcastle and 90-minutes north of Sydney, Raffertys Resort is the perfect location to sit back and relax on the tranquil shores of Lake Macquarie.

The heated pool made our stay! It was lashing down with rain on two of our days and we had 9 kids to entertain so the heated pool was a lifesaver! So warm with a roof to keep the rain off and big enough for all of us. The jacuzzi was a plus and even warmer. The kids loved the bubbles and the shallower pool for the littlies was great too. Fishing on the jetty and availability of bait and fishing equipment and bottleshop on site were a major bonus too.The food at the Tavern was good and we managed to get a girly trivia night while the dads took the kids home for bed. The whole resort felt very safe and everything was close by and easy accessible for all. Will definitely come back:)
