A very nice old house with access to the parking just around the back and through a gate and easy check in with the host. Lovely tall ceilings with tastefully decorated Highland Cow room which had plenty of storage, a couple of easy chairs and tea & coffee making facilities plus a TV. En-suite bathroom which had a bath with a shower, via the taps, over it. Host was very friendly and gave us some ideas on where to go and recommendations for food. Close to a small Spar shop and a hotel - we only had a drink in the bar down the side so can’t comment on the food. Very quiet stay and only 2 rooms which aren’t side by side so that was welcome. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Very warm welcome. Lovely room, comfortable chairs and bed. Exceptionally clean. Host arranged an evening meal table for us at a restaurant within easy reach - a nice additional personal touch.
