Hotel Overview

Overlooking the bay just 200 yards from Torre Abbey beach, The Heritage Hotel Complex boasts a prime south facing location in the heart of Torquay.
The hotel has 24 bedrooms of which the majority of rooms have sea views. All rooms have ensuite facilities with either a shower or a bath. All rooms have hairdryers, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. Sky TV features in all rooms except the 3 garden rooms which are Freeview. There is also an indoor pool which guests have access to for a small charge.
The Heritage Hotel complex also boasts Appleby's, the adjoining bar and restaurant, which is one of Torquay's best-known destination venues featuring bay views, a spacious bar and lounge area with large-screen HD TVs showing live sports. The bar also has a large sun terrace which you can relax on and soak up the sun. The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options to include continental and cooked options. Delicious lunch and evening meals are also served seven days a week.
The Heritage Hotel is just a short walk from Torquay harbour, the Riviera Conference Centre, Princess Theatre and town centre shops. The hotel has its own car park and is next to a large public car park. The car park is free and is on a first come first serve basis.

Room was not as stated, did not have seating area and writing desk and was smaller than expected. No where to sit except on the bed. Was clean, bed was comfortable, tea @ Coffee in room and direct access to car park. Was fine for a short stay and breakfast was excellent!

Convenient location between the station and town centre, handy for the Rhviera Centre (where I was attending a conference), great views from the hillside setting.

I was in Torquay to visit an elderly Uncle, the Heritage was in a perfect location within walking distance to the rail station. The Hotel itself has all the facilities that you would require, even a swimming pool, which unfortunately l didn't have the time to utilise. All in all a great place to stay and relax with excellent staff.
