Private beach, Private pool, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with warm hospitality., breathtaking views n surrounding nature. The location is peaceful. We can't wait to go back

Lush surroundings coupled with unique living accommodation. Comfortable and well laid out kitchen and bathroom areas. Exceptional deck with ample seating and pool. Lovely lilly ponds with "frogphonies" singing you to sleep at night!! Beach very close,less than 10 minutes away with inspirational pebbles lining the way.Caretakers: friendly and full of advice. Were even offered honey on the comb.

The Name of the Place...Kingfisher Lakeside Retreat, really lives up to its name. Its a REAL retreat from the hustle and Bustle of everyday Life. When my Partner, Michelle Chetty and I arrived at the Venue, we were greeted by Cheree, a very cheerful and helpful. On arrival we learnt that we were the Only guest and had the whole Retreat to ourselves and one with nature and were also upgraded to Kingfisher Tent, which was very well maintained. On Saturday, morning after a very nice soulful and blissful walk on Trafalgar Beach (which was secluded and private access) we were provided access to the Cottage to allow to watch the SA vs NZ Rugby match. I want to extend a BIG thank you to Cheree and Peter for making our stay, a 1st a REAL MEMORABLE ONE.!!!!!

Was upgraded to a luxury tent without additional cost - Thank you, enjoyed every moment!! Wood for fire-pit supplied without cost - was great to make a fire underneath the trees and stars - great experience!

Location was perfect for us. We were upgraded to a bigger tent at no extra cost. Had a braai every night. Beach is super close and clean. Great to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Friendly staff. Very helpful. Very accommodating. Had solar lights everywhere so even with the load shedding there was still light. Gas was provided to the stove aswell
