Location for me. Uvita is a very spread out town, this hotel was halfway to the beach and halfway to the centre of town and bus stop. Good value, for green season. To have an apartment with everything plus breakfast, I stayed an extra night. 2 Ac's unit, 2 TVs ( these I could not work out) plenty of space for one person. Good breakfast. Very secure property. Pool was good too.

Our plans for the night unexpectedly changed and we arrived at the Ballena Rey Hotel last minute. They were so welcoming and prepared that it was such a relief. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. We would have loved to spend some time on the balcony, which looked very comfortable. The shower was also quite good and had amazing temperature control. The buffet breakfast was also quite good and we enjoyed a quick dip in the pool!
