As before when staying in the centre of Uzes we used the Q-park Cordeliers, which is spacious and an easy 5 minute stroll to the apartment which easy to find at the top end of Place au Herbes. It is situated in a distinctive, ancient building, and the door is at the base of the turret next to an art gallery. Communication with the owners was very good and we were met at the apartment on arrival. The apartment is on the first floor and is reached via on old, spiral stone staircase, which is slightly awkward with a suitcase, but perfectly fine. While the fabric of the building is old the apartment is decorated and furnished in a very smart, modern style with top quality fixtures and fittings. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable with French windows overlooking the Place below. The bedroom, was also smart and comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were also very good,apart from one small issue. The shower is of the “over the bath” style and the glass screen isn’t fitted properly and has a gap at the bottom of the screen, which can result in a very wet floor. Our solution was to hold the shower head in your hand to control where the water goes. As I said, this is a small issue and didn’t spoil our stay. As my wife Karen said, “this is the sort of apartment you could happily live in.” I agree and would say that it is probably the nicest holiday apartment we have ever had. We will,certainly use it again.

The location was perfect, very close to the central square and a number of good local restaurants. The property was very well decorated and maintained.
