Hotel Overview

Occupying a historic Art Nouveau building in the Josefstadt district opposite the University Campus, this family-run 4-star guesthouse Pension Excellence is only 5 minutes walk from Vienna’s Town Hall, the Schottentor/Universität Underground Station, and the Ringstraße boulevard. Free WiFi is available in all areas.
Rooms at the Pension Excellence are all non-smoking and feature adjustable air-conditioning, while soundproof windows are installed for all street facing rooms. They come with a flat-screen cable TV, minibar, safe, allergy-friendly wooden floors, leather box-spring beds, and a bathroom.
A buffet breakfast is served in the elegant breakfast room from 07:00 until 10:00. A 24-hour reception is available, and 5 underground parking spaces are available on request and subject to availability.
A separate fitness and wellness centre is located in the same building and offers reduced daily rates to guests.

Good location 15 min walk from the city center. Breakfast is good although not very diverse.

The room was quite big with all necessary things available. clean and comfortable . Nice and helpful staff. Overall the hotel was very interesting. With paintings in the corridor and antique furniture. The reception is on the second floor. The elevator was not working but I did not have a heavy luggage with me. The only thing is that the building where the hotel is located looked a bit old. But inside it was really good

The location is ideal... Less than 10 minutes on foot from the rathaus and votivkirche... Also from metro stations. Opera and stephansdom around 20 minutes. Its literally in the center. Recommended 100% for the location and the price. Also the stuff is very kind. And in general is a clean and comfortable hotel.
