Location great. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower large and powerful. Bed very comfy.

Great location right on the banks of the River Ouse about 200m from the walls of the Medieval City centre. Takes 10 minutes or so to get to a variety of restaurants and pubs. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Owner arranged for parking permits for 5 pounds which was quite useful. Our room looked out over the river.

Nice touch fresh milk available for each room. Perfect for those travelling by train as the Guest House is just across the bridge form York station.

The location on the river is excellent, and within a 5 minute walk of York centre.
