Situated in the heart of Stone Town. It is located just 500 metres from the fruit and fish market of Darajan.

An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodation from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in.
We accept MasterCard and Visa. Please be advised that all credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 3%.
For bookings of up to 5 rooms, a different cancellation policy applies. Cancellations must be made at least 60 days before arrival to avoid a 100% cancellation fee. Additionally, prepayment is required 60 days prior to arrival. Failure to remit payment by the deadline will result in the reservation being released.

If Stone Town is where you’re starting, then the staff at Shaba Boutique give you an insight of what to expect from the Zanzibarians. Welcoming and extremely friendly, you are made to feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and characterful. The breakfast is also great 😊 Great location with everything within a few minutes on foot, just remember your path!

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. At the night we thought that the location was not good. It was smelly and dirty everywhere and dark. But in the morning we saw that we were at the center of the touristic shops etc so for one night it was perfect!!
